In October 2011 H3iSquared was commissioned to analyse and audit a client’s large scale network, due to the fact that users were experiencing slow response times when accessing specific databases across the network. The data traffic on the network was analysed at different times from different locations on the network, whilst at the same time the various servers and client machines on the network had their network configurations checked. The findings were then analysed by the team at H3iSquared and a report on the network conditions was compiled and sent through to the client.
Not only were the network slowdowns eliminated (After following steps detailed in the report), but the analysis also did manage to pinpoint a number of other issues, that while not causing noticeable problems at the time of the audit, could have escalated in the future. By following the steps and recommendations put forth in the report from H3iSquared, the client found an improvement in the network operation, and prevented future problems.
